Acting Editions

From Durang:  Most of my plays are published in ďacting editionsĒ by Dramatists Play Services; two are published by Samuel French.

Acting editions are thin paperbacks, designed for use in rehearsals.  They are usually a bit cheaper than the regular book store paperbacks.

Because these editions are meant for production use and you get them from the licensing publishers, I have in most cases added authorís notes to these volumes that are specifically geared to actors and directors putting on the plays.SisterMary and Actors Nightmare cover.jpg (30761 bytes)

Because of this, if youíre going to produce the plays, I hope you will get these editions in order to read some of these notes.
